Wobermad is a DJ and producer from Madrid who discovered his calling at the age of 16, when he began refining a technique that soon allowed him to forge a distinctive style behind the decks. His passion for music naturally led him to electronic sounds, where he found the perfect space to unleash his creativity. With an ability to adapt seamlessly, his sets move fluidly across genres such as House, Deep House, Techno, and Hard Techno. This stylistic range allows him to shift from the melodic atmospheres of deep house to the relentless power of hard techno, delivering performances that are both immersive and emotionally charged. His artistic journey has been shaped by the influence of leading figures in global electronic music. He trained under Cristian Varela, a pioneer of techno in Spain and a defining figure in the evolution of the national scene, voted Best Techno DJ in the world in 2007 and with more than three decades as an ambassador of the genre. He has also learned from Afrojack, the Grammy-winning Dutch icon and regular in DJ Magazine’s global Top 10. This duality—combining the purity of Spanish techno with the innovation of Dutch house—has been pivotal in shaping Wobermad’s musical identity. Since March 2025, Wobermad has been part of Trust Wally, the movement led by international DJ Wally Lopez. Conceived as a platform to support outstanding talent, the initiative seeks to amplify the voices of emerging DJs and give greater visibility to authentic proposals within the electronic community. He is also a resident DJ at Ibiza Stardust Radio, one of the world’s leading deep house streaming stations, which attracts more than 200,000 monthly unique listeners. His show airs every third Wednesday of the month at 10 p.m. Over the course of his career, Wobermad has played in clubs across Madrid, Almería, and Ibiza, and has been a finalist in prestigious competitions such as Madcool Talent and Summer Story. His sets balance melodic subtlety with vibrant energy, crafting sound journeys defined by long transitions, immersive atmospheres, and a steady rhythmic pulse.
