With a background in live performance and a history rooted in the electroclash scene, WNKR brings a sense of physicality and intentionality to the decks—crafting sets that are not only musically rich but deeply attuned to the energy of the dance floor. His selections are eclectic yet cohesive, bridging sultry, groove-laden house with raw, driving electro, hypnotic breakbeats, and off-center cuts that sit just outside easy categorization. This approach results in dynamic, narrative-driven sets that evolve fluidly from dark and cerebral to euphoric and unrestrained. WNKR is also the co-creator and resident of two of LA’s queer dance parties: Body Melt and Synth and Sin, both hosted alongside collaborator Blake the Reject.
