Will Tramp!
Biografía
In 2004, William Dunn and a group of friends started their own night Tramp!, bored with the monotony of the Mancunian club scene. Taking place in the bizarre surroundings of the now defunct Bierkeller, with a musical policy of anything goes, they quickly gained a reputation as one of the most forward thinking club nights in the country, packing in the crowds week in week out for 4 years with Will & James regularly playing all around the UK, Europe and beyond. Their weekly Wednesday throw downs in a dingy German beerhall became known as riotous intense affairs with fantastic guests to boot. Previous visitors include Optimo, Holy Ghost, Tim Sweeney, Modeselektor, Diplo, Joakim, Justin Van Der Volgen, Chromeo, The Juan Maclean, Wolfgang Flur (Kraftwerk), Justice and many more. Some as UK Debut performances.
Since bowing out gracefully from a weekly club format, Tramp! have thrown sporadic parties around Manchester and Will has gained a reputation as one of the most daring, eclectic and passionate DJs in the city with a style that encompasses music of all types without following fad trends and 'fashionable' genres. Regular warm up slots for some of the biggest people in the game such as 2manydjs,, Chic, Simian Mobile Disco, Erol Alkan and Fake Blood.
He holds official residencies at The Warehouse Project, Parklife Festival & Homoelectric and has been a resident for the legendary Bugged Out for the past few years.
Previous venues played include Fabric, Cargo, The End, Optimo, Sankeys, The Electric Chair, Big Chill Festival, The Arches (Glasgow) and many more clubs and festivals around the world including Japan, Thailand, Sweden, France and Germany.
