William Alec Silver [27], primarily known as Will Silver, is a British-born DJ and producer based in South-East London. Will is known for his unique production style and dexterous DJing abilities, translating between the dance lanes of techno and house music. Imbued with pulsating rhythms, Will’s compositions weave together distinct sounds, evoking vivid visions of ecstatic revelry on the dance floor. Will's journey in music began at a young age, and he received his first BBC Radio 1 broadcast when he was only 18. However, his career truly took off in March 2020 with Nice Age, an LA-based record label founded by Orlando Higginbottom [Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs]. Collaborating with Orlando, Will crafted a collection of tracks that caught the attention of renowned artists like Four Tet and Bicep. Since then, he has continued to release new music, receiving praise from talents such as HAAi, Narciss, Toshiki Ohta, and Emerald. With his tracks being supported on various radio stations including BBC Radio 1, Radio 6, Rinse FM, NTS, HÖR, KISS, and BBC London. Although Will’s career has only begun, he’s been making a name for himself in the dance world, with his single ‘Falling Theme’ off his ‘Voyage EP’ being awarded Best Tracks of 2022 by Mixmag. Remixing Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs hit single ‘Forever’ from his new LP, ‘When The Lights Go’, and releasing his brand new EP, ‘Say, I Understand’ on Silver Bear Recordings in September 2023. As a DJ, Will illustrates a balance of being captivating and heated on the dance floor. His carefully selected approach and experience bind club-energy genres closely together. With his childhood being brought up around an atmosphere of the old-school club aura, his older brother(s) introduced him to the world of club music and mixing music at a young age.
