Widdows95 runs the queer event series [Redacted] @redactedparty in Toronto quarterly which has hosted local Toronto artists R-oderick (Juno Award Winner), Venus in Foil, OMG Blog, Kai, Zellers, Critter, Valeroo and Rose Hips. This year she toured Brazil to play Rio and São Paulo Carnaval and New York to play She They DJ. In May she finally graduated from her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Sciences at UCL in London and in July returned to her on and off home of Berlin to work in Psy Care for Whole Festival and play at Villa Vida in Vienna and Hotbox Livestream in Nurnberg. Her style ranges from deep, progressive and garage house and also encompasses higher energy sounds such as hard house/trance, speed garage, rave and breakbeat. You can listen to more of her style on her Soundcloud with a monthly residency she did for Komrad FM in Birmingham for 2.5 years, and recently a livestream for Mission London and House of Others podcast for Others to the Front Berlin. Widdows95 is a classically trained musician with experience since the age of seven in piano and later from the age of ten in classical percussion including marimba, trained at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto privately and in ensembles and later at Earl Haig Secondary School's Claude Watson Program in ensembles, theory and orchestra. She attended her first rave at 16 and later went on to play rock drums in various bands in her 20s.
