Having been raised within the Glasgow techno scene during the latter years of his teens, Whitley's electronic music interests began to expand. After honing in on rough, Birmingham-style tribal techno, his attention was quickly drawn to the old school sounds, which naturally led to many hours spent online, building up a collection of 90s techno, and eventually venturing into the realm of trance. Whitley's early production credits have received solid support for Voight-Kampff Records, as well as various compilation appearances for Ismus, Substantiv, Extra Energy, Mitsu 2000 and single releases on Grounded and Affix Works.
