WAVEFORMZ - (Michael Todd / MT) vocalist / guitarist / bassist / drummer / instrumentalist. Michael's primary focus is bringing Psychedelic / Groove centric voices to electronic music (often with DJs from multiple genres), and what he describes as helping to construct "a full pyramid of sound." Or as he describes it, "Triptronic". Michael has a background as a studio musician since the age of 14 years old in rock, jazz, funk, soul, heavy rock, progressive rock, and psychedelic. Michael has had the pleasure and experience of playing at a number of clubs, venues, and events in and around Barcelona most recently; besides being a professional touring musician multiple times in the past. He describes his foray into electronic music as being, "random luck." He admits, "I knew very little about electronic music until moving to BCN. I'd still say I have a lot to learn in some ways. I had a basic construct of what it was as a musician, but not really much desire to jump into the genres until a DJ friend of mine invited me to come over and jam / record. It was pretty clear to both of us within 15 minutes that there was a sound in there somewhere, without a doubt." His current goals are continuing to play as many live shows as possible; and finishing an album he has been working on writing with other musicians in the Barcelona area, combining electronica with classic instruments, and vocals in his self-branded "Triptronic" style.
