Spending the better part of the past two yrs cutting his teeth on club CDJs & mixers when the controller at home got too boring, Wareshevik borders between happily social raver & introspective music snob even in his duller days. Born & raised in the Bronx while spending his adolescent years in Pakistan, Wareshevik was fortunate enough to gradually develop a diverse musical palette that third culture kids find common enough but struggle to fully appreciate themselves until life leaves them longing for more, whether it's nostalgia, longing for better self-connection to culture, or just trying to express themselves in a new way. Picking up DJing as a hobby in 2014 on a Numark Mixtrack Pro II as was common enough even then, Wareshevik didn't really start going to electronic shows until 2018 when he saw The Glitch Mob play all his favorite songs of theirs @ Brooklyn Steel. Only fueled by water, cigarettes, and the energy of the show while still under 21, he was absolutely ready for the next show/party, not to mention even zanier ones. Now Wareshevik spends half his week out catching up with or making new friends/acquaintances in the NYC rave/electronic scenes, keeping an open mind while still very much energized by the diabolical synths & bass of peak-time. Swapping dubstep and big room electro, house and trance sounds over for every manner and facet of techno, industrial, and dubby/minimal over the years, one might expect a full-on techno set from Wareshevik at times to only be thrown an absolute curveball like Duran Duran or a Flux Pavilion Remix. Wareshevik very much enjoys riding the energy of the night and day, while still doing his due diligence in ensuring the crowd of enjoying themselves as well beyond the booth view and phone.
