Inspired by a wide range of musical influences, VRIDIAN has released on imprints such as Manjumasi, Traum Schallplatten & Qilla Records. With a passion for the craft of (appropriate & situational) DJing, the project has also become a regular feature on club bills across the Indian subcontinent. VRIDIAN’s releases have found their way into the selections of Andrew Weatherall, Atish, Frankey & Sandrino, Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed & Mark Slee. His catalog also boasts stellar remixes of his music from some of the best in the game, such as Christopher Ledger, Clarian & Tim Engelhardt. 2022 proved to be an inspiring year as it saw VRIDIAN put out his first 12” vinyl release in collaboration with Manjumasi label head Atish, and an EP on home imprint Qilla records - with which the producer ventured into a more textural and stripped down sonic aesthetic. With a musical profile that is constantly evolving, it is always best to expect the unexpected. The year 2022 has been one of many milestones in terms of performances as well, including the first run of ‘Don’t Feed The Animals’ - Vridian’s newly developed club residency for expressing his various musical interests. The residency saw guest DJs such as Rohan Rakhit (Daytimers UK), Midnight Traffic (Qilla Records) and raised donations for Wildlife SOS - a not-for-profit organization working towards elephant conservation in India.
