Vior

Vior

Biografía

Formed in the UK in 2017, Vior are a production duo operating at the quieter end of the spectrum, where minimal house and techno converge into something deliberate and unhurried. Their output is defined by restraint: tracks built around the space between elements as much as the elements themselves, favouring texture and tension over gesture. Since their formation, Vior have developed a sound rooted in the stripped-back traditions of European dance music, channelling the disciplined economy of the former and the cold precision of the latter into something distinctly their own. Rhythm is their primary language. Groove is functional, never decorative. Working in tandem, the duo approach production as a reductive process, removing until only the essential remains. The result is music that rewards patience: subtle automation, slow-burning arrangements, and a sonic palette that stays close to the floor without drawing attention to itself. Vior release on their own terms, on their own timeline.
