The artist's music combines elements from various subgenres within the house music genre, including 80's house, electro, acid, minimal, disco, funky house, and more, contributing to a diverse and rich musical experience. Her music creates an intimate atmosphere by seamlessly blending the steady, propulsive house rhythms with the vibrant tones of Brazil. More than just a DJ, Vicky.P is the heart behind Tropicana Records, a label she founded in 2019 to celebrate the richness of Brazilian music. At Tropicana Records, she wears many hats: founder, owner, A&R representative, and resident DJ. Additionally, she leads Velvet, a Lisbon-based collective exploring various facets of electronic music. With both labels, Vicky.P simply shares the music she loves, hoping to bring joy to listeners around the world. Other Projects: In addition to her musical career, she is also an entrepreneur in the world of electronic music. As the founder, owner, A&R representative, and resident DJ of Tropicana Records, a label she established in 2019, she has embarked on a mission to unearth the hidden gems and recently discovered treasures from the legacy of Brazilian music. Tropicana Records serves as a platform for diverse music producers worldwide, releasing a curated selection of remixes, edits, original tracks, and covers. Motivated by a genuine passion for music, the label explores Brazil's electronic music scene in a unique and contemporary way. Their commitment extends beyond the digital realm, with vibrant promotions online and live events and showcases globally. These events often feature renowned DJs and music producers who have collaborated with the label, creating a dynamic fusion of talent and creativity. Additionally, she is the driving force behind Velvet, a label born in São Paulo, Brazil, which swiftly gained international recognition. Within just a year of its inception, Velvet was invited to host a weekly party at the prestigious Glass Club in Paris, owned by the renowned Quixotic Projects Group. This residency in Paris lasted two remarkable years before the label's relocation to Portugal. Today, Velvet stands as a Lisbon-based collective, organizing late-night parties and underground gatherings across the city and surrounding locations. Musically, Velvet offers a raw, unfiltered journey through the gritty, unpolished sounds of electronic music, featuring genres such as House, Breaks, Minimal, Electro, and more. Stripping away the frills, Velvet focuses on the essence of underground beats and grooves, defining a cultural experience that resonates both from the past and present.
