Vicky Kroon grew up studying classical music, music theory, music business, event management, playing the piano, singing and songwriting. She was part of an indie-rock band as a vocalist, analysed sheet music by all-time iconic composers and created her own for her thesis. Her love for electronic music started in university when she attended her first illegal forest and warehouse raves in Sweden. It was then she knew she wanted to be a part of this creatively exciting and mysterious world of underground electronic music - the music was infectious to her and there was a sense of belonging and acceptance in this scene, compared to the commercial scenes. After university she started to work for various clubs and festivals in Thailand: Kolour In the Park Festival, Cafe Del Mar Phuket, Baba Beach club, etc. In 2018 she moved to Ibiza and worked for: Heart Ibiza, Ushuaia & Hi Ibiza, Woomoon & Storytellers. She wanted to gather as much experience and knowledge about the scene as possible, and after 8+ years of working in it her knowledge and network of the music and scene has flourished. It wasn’t until the pandemic that she felt she could return to her artistic roots again. She taught herself how to DJ with the help and guidance of John Acquaviva. On stage, she has played alongside artists such as Damian Lazarus, Monolink, Stavroz, Birds Of Mind, Audiofly, Patrice Baumel, Deer Jade and Dorian Craft. Now she is working on her first EP in collaboration with a few highly talented artists set to be ready by summer of 2023. Her sound indulges you with a mysterious yet uplifting trip, taking you on a melodic journey of cultural sounds and tribal rhythms, decorated with vocals and afro influences. She holds the dance floor with addictively groovy baselines, elegantly mixing deep house with melodic and minimal house to techno.
