Varist has only recently emerged as a DJ specializing in smooth disco and funky house fueled sets. He debuted in October 2023, opening for Book Club Radio's Sleepy Hollow meeting. The video of that set was viewed over 300,000 times within the first two months of its release. Varist returned to Book Club in February 2024 for Book Club's 1 year anniversary meeting, delivering a set that has been described as "sick", "disgusting", and "violent", but in all the best ways possible. Varist is based in central Pennsylvania but practically considers himself an NYC DJ with a 4 hour commute. Varist also hosts a weekly session from his home, TGIVarist, every Friday at 3PM Eastern.
