Vane Madrid started her career as a DJ in 2004 playing at small clubs and raves around Madrid. As music lover, she has been collecting records for 15 years now, house music has defined her sets since the beginning, also covering styles such as techno, electro and minimal of hypnotic textures with clear deep and hedonistic Detroit influences. In 2012, she started her DJ residence at Avantgarde Club, events owned by the 'underground' artist Terence :Terry: from Paris, at well known Sala Clamores. After this, she joined 100% Feminine DJs collective in which she kept developing her DJ sets and music style, as well as she was invaited to play in several local parties, like Techno Cracks which continues till today or Redsonja Beats eclectic events (Sala Siroco), Sildavia, ​Specka Club, Studio76, Ya'sta, Sala Republik, Sala Numoon etc. Vane's deep style shaped by house/techno sounds took her to play several times at Rex Club (Paris), House of Wax at Tresor (Berlin), and hottest electronic music festivals in Spain like GOA Rave, DGTL and Brunch in The Park Madrid. She shared booth with great artists such as Jef K, Randor Factor (Aka Carl Finlow), Milton Jackson, Terence Terry, Alex Kidd, Paul Kalkbrenner, Monolink, Hoax Believers, Pelacha, Jose Rico, F-On, DjF, The Zenobitr3, Damian Schuwart, Xpansul. Downtimes collective was born in 2018 like an attempt to bring a more hipnotic and relaxed approach to electronic dance music scene in Madrid. Vane Madrid together with F-On and Finders Keepers, are the heads behind this project that focus on dub techno to lisergic house, deep techno, electro or acid - They organice parties based on 100% vinyl low pitched sounds, that are held in different popular venues around Madrid as Demode Club, Sala Siroco, Moroder Sound Club, Ballesta Club, Costello... Dowtimes is synthetic music for dancing with your eyes closed, acts that provides an authentic sound journey experience. Also in 2019 she traveled to play around Mainland Southeast Asia where she discover new places and artists and got a wider picture of electronic music scene. She was hosted twice at The Lighthouse and Vitamin D party (Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam), also at Reveries (Bangkok, Thailand) a collaboration between Late Night Bangkok and Iconic Studios 53. Vane Madrid always try to mantain an essential and omnipresent key element in her sets: the soul. Over the years she has got a really refined taste, a very personal style, and a coherent and progressive musical development when performing her sets: truly soulful groove.
