“An iron fist in a velvet glove”, is what comes to mind when you hear Uzuki。 for the first time. Born in Australia, and raised between Japan and France, Uzuki。 has grown up exposed to a myriad of cultural influences. Discovering electronic music in Paris during her time as a student, she has strolled from one party to another and from one genre to another. This is what makes her music selections a unique and subtle collage of eclecticism. Behind the decks, Uzuki。 stands out with a dynamic and impressive approach to mixing. Her bass driven style is loved by audiences and her live performances have an energetic and human edge, rarely seen from most Djs. She has played in many popular venues throughout France and also in Italy. Production-wise, she has released two tracks on the Wrong Audio Music label compilation. Her first track “It Wasn't Mean't To Be” appeared in 2020 followed by “Same Trouble” a year after. In 2022, she won a remix contest run by the Argentinian techno producer, Pfirter, and had her remix released on his label Paralelo. Fresh, stylish, and with her killer music taste, Uzuki。 is definitely a promising talent.
