UMA DJ is a native NYC-based artist who’s been raised on international dance floors by her DJ father, Tom of England. Uma has been steeping in historic deep house, dub, and disco since birth, and is always exploring newer sounds/styles while maintaining the old-school magic she loves. Outside of New York, she’s gigged in Sydney, Melbourne, Bali, London, Berlin, Los Angeles, Honolulu, and Havana, Cuba. Throwing down wax since age 15 in 2016 at Magick City, Uma has since played the notable Dope Jams, Good Room, Nightmoves, Paul's Baby Grand, and Last Saturday Dance (LSD), among many other NY venues, as well as throwing her own Summer Soirée parties in Brooklyn.
