Originally born just outside of Detroit, Tyson has been deeply rooted in Techno and House culture since the late 90’s when he went to his first party at 17. Upon moving to Chicago in 2003, he has been a contributor in event operations and artist relations, never thinking he would ever step behind the decks. From the encouragement of his industry colleagues, friends, and family he decided to start selecting only in the last few years. He has since played at venues like Spybar nightclub, TV Lounge (Detroit), Arbella, and Cermak Hall in Chicago and has shared lineups with Shaun Reeves, Hiroko Yamamura, Raresh, Obee, Tomas Station, Maher Daniel, Dieru, Magda, and DJ Holographic. He is also a current Tied Records label resident and owner of Chicago production company Elated Presents.
