While crossing paths many times on London’s vibrant House and Garage scenes, Spencer Martin and Eamonn James quickly built a mutual respect based on each other’s passion for music, and ability to push boundaries with their mixing styles during sets. In early 2011 they worked together so much their ever increasing circle of mutual friends on the London clubbing scene would constantly ask one where the other was, and they found themselves responding ‘the two of us are playing here tonight’. With the emergence of a deep house sound throwing it back to the deep house and garage sound they fell in love with while becoming DJs back in the 90s, they decided to come together to work on a new house music project they aptly titled ‘Two Of Us’. Based purely on their mixing ability the duo’s project began with a mix cd series named ‘Into Deep’, based around the emerging Deep House and garage sound they had fallen in love with. Unearthing new music while paying homage to the current crowd pleasers, the “into Deep’ mix cd series cemented Two Of Us as the DJs the crowd wanted to hear. The ‘Into Deep’ mixes ( https://soundcoud.com/two-of-us or https://soundcloud.com/officially_ftloh/sets/two-of-us ) have allowed Two Of Us to lay down their mixing style and set a benchmark needed to show their audience and those involved in the house music scene what they were capable of. The mixes always receive amazing support and over the years have allowed Two Of Us to feature regularly at the legendary Avaword parties + also become residents at Zephron Parties alongside the UK Urban scene legend Donaeo, amongst other things. With an eye on the future, Two Of Us have started to delve in the world of music production, deciding ultimately in late 2013 to concentrate on this area instead of clubland while still releasing ‘Into Deep’ mixes. Fast forward to 2015 and with the 10th ‘Into Deep’ CD ready to hit the streets in time for summer, and with a few releases waiting in the wings, the boys are back looking to clubland and the world of radio, to put their sound back out there and put them back on the map as two of London’s leading djs.
