TRAX grew up in a time when hiphop was coming up, so at the age of 13 he started producing beats and rapping himself, performing on stage a few years later. Where hiphop brought also a new way of performing as a DJ, electronic dance music really inspired him to get into the art of mixing songs as a DJ. When he started to go to night clubs and festivals Dutch house and dance became famous all around the world, which inspired him to go dive deeper into producing electronic music himself. After that TRAX got influenced by upcoming music styles like Traphouse and Techhouse, and here the idea grew that rap vocals actually sound really good on electronic music too. Soon he started to perform shows in clubs in Barcelona and Amsterdam combining electronic music with hiphop and other urban styles. TRAX prefers to build bridges instead of borders between genres. Besides producing and performing as a solo artist, he is also DJ and producer of the House/Dance collective Till You Drop and the Hard House group Against The Grain.
