Having held residencies in San Francsico during the late 2000's techno renaissance, his musical tastes have been shaped by the most cutting edge, underground soundscapes. It's his particular taste in electronica, techno, tech house and minimal that guides curation of artists and releases at Shadow Mined Recordings. Since 2018, Travis has been producing non-stop, forming everything he has learned, lived and connected to in music, sound, hedonism, life and righteousness into a signature sound defining the tip of the SMR spear. Travis now resides near his childhood home in the hills of Northeast Tennessee, just a short trip from Asheville, NC. In Asheville, he sees the potential for yet another renaissance in underground music. In the peaceful NETN hills, his years of musical influence, intense work ethic and obsessive passion for sound have manifested into strong skills as a mix/mastering engineer, on top of his creative productions. This has allowed him to pursue another of his many passions, introducing groundbreaking, relatively unknown artists to the world via Shadow Mined Recordings.
