TONIC is a Dayton, Ohio-based DJ, curator, and founder of Body Language, a party and radio platform built to celebrate underground club music and the communities that surround it. With a deep love for rhythm and movement, her sets blend club edits, footwork, ballroom, ghetto house/tech and bass into an experience that is energetic, playful, and impossible to not move a calf muscle. Growing up with a background in music before finding her home behind the decks, TONIC approaches DJing with equal parts curiosity and intention. Every set is an opportunity to tell a story, introduce people to something new, and create a dance floor where everyone feels invited to let go. Rather than chasing trends, she focuses on building moments that feel honest, exciting, and memorable. In just a 1 Year, TONIC has performed throughout Ohio, Chicago, Detroit, New York, and Kentucky, steadily becoming a recognizable name across the Midwest club circuit. She has had the opportunity to open for Zack Fox not once but TWICE. Whether playing an intimate bar, or a packed club, she brings the same level of care and energy to every performance. Outside of DJing, TONIC is passionate about creating opportunities for others. Through Body Language, she curates events that connect artists and audiences across cities, with an emphasis on collaboration, accessibility, and the future of club culture. She also produces Body Language Radio, a mix series dedicated to showcasing DJs from across the globe and highlighting the sounds shaping dance floors today. For TONIC, DJing has always been about more than playing music. It’s about building community, celebrating the roots of club culture, and creating spaces where people can feel free, connected, and completely present on the dance floor.
