An acclaimed DJ in Europe and Asia, Toni Aparisi, began his musical career in Northern Spain in the early 2000s. Toni became resident DJ to several important venues across Spain over the years, which greatly informed his musical tastes and technique. Understanding very well how sub-culture drives the mainstream, Toni felt ready to take his career global. His musical dexterity and expansive knowledge of electronica allows Toni to easily alter sets without alienating the dance floor crowd. His personal evolution has led him from Chicago house to techno and dark disco sounds. His passion for music and keen awareness of his audience has propelled him to become one of Shanghai’s most popular DJs. A regular guest DJ at some of the top venues across Asia, Toni has quickly developed a reputation for his original music selection, cleverly mixing beats from a variety of genres. Toni Aparisi was the owner and music director of the award winning Lola Club in Shanghai. At Lola Toni Aparisi regularly played alongside the likes of Josh Wink, Todd Terry, La Fleur, KINK, Adam Port, Prins Thomas, A Guy Called Gerald, Derrick Carter, Detroit Swindle, Tom Trago, Pete Herbert & Dicky Trisco, Benoit & Sergio, Roman Flugel, Move D, Soul Clap and John Talabot just to name a few. Toni is currently the promoter and resident Dj of a new monthly party in Madrid called Daycap with recent shows from names such as Bufiman, Ivan Smagghe and Manfredas.
