Biografía
Tim's musical journey began in South Florida, soundtracked by his father's eclectic taste. From classic rock to reggae and hip-hop, Tim's ears soaked it all in. He amassed a collection of tapes, CDs, and vinyl, adding 90s electronica to the mix. College broadened his horizons, introducing him to indie rock, electronic sub-genres, and a deeper dive into house and techno. His passion for music only grew.
The post-college years were a whirlwind of music and tech, a nomadic journey across the US – Miami, Pittsburgh, New York, and back to Miami. It was the energy of New York that sparked his desire to become an active participant in the music scene. His ever-growing record collection, now boasting over 10,000 records, became the foundation for what we now know as Command Center Records.
Fast forward to 2020 in Miami. Command Center Records officially launched as an online haven for rare, used electronic and hip-hop records. In the years that followed, relentlessly built the brand, a familiar face at the Miami Record Fair and local events. He didn't stop there – he curated events, spun and hosted events at Rec Room and The Anderson, is currently hosting monthly events at Skatebird, and holds residencies at Kaori and Miami Soundbar.
Tim's not just a collector, he's a curator and a connector, fostering Miami's vibrant music scene.
