Timo-G aka Tim Giles first made a splash in Manchester when co-founding legendary clubnight SubTub which went on to host events across Manchester, Leeds and London and annually in the French alps alongside Fat City and others for the original Snowbombing parties in the early nouties. He went on to run a number of record labels, releasing music from 9 piece latin band RSL (most notably 'Wesley Music' and 'The Mast' with remixes from Danny Krivit, King Britt and others), Manchester Hip Hop outfit 'Broke n' English (DRS & Strategy) and reissuing rare and obscure funk records via VoxPop45's. That led onto opening a record shop with Mr Scruff in Manchester's Northern Quarter and managing the early career of DJ Trus'me, spawning the release of 'Working Nights'. A year in New York resulted in a run of 'Sunday Social' events with Monkone (Wax Poetics) and Qool DJ Marv among others. Most recently he set up the É Soul Cultura TV twitch streams with Luke Una and Lil' Minx. With this modus operandi It's safe to say Tim has a keen ear for a good tune and some experience in the game. An unwavering passion for collecting records sees him on regular trips around the UK, Europe and beyond....you'll find him no happier than digging through the dusty bins of your local record emporium looking for Reggae, Soul, Jazz, Afro, Disco, House, Boogie & Soul bombs along with everything in between!
