With a musical mind that’s both innovative and artistic, Thilini’s infectious appreciation for sound has catapulted her on an incredible journey through underground circles. Drawn to Sydney’s eclectic underground scene from her hometown of Brisbane, her passion and creativity immediately opened doors. Rising swiftly to become one of Sydney's in-demand DJs, she performed at reputed venues across Australia’s East Coast including Killing Time, Club 77, Breakfast Club, SASH and Subsonic Music Festival. Not one to shy away from the challenges of touring and promoting, she soon began to draw iconic artists such as Archie Hamilton, Dana Ruh, Julian Perez & Cristi Cons to Brisbane dancefloors for the very first time. Playing alongside them in her event series ’FLUX’, and changing the face of the scene there by exposing audiences to the latest cutting edge sounds while synchronously holding a residency with hugely influential Sydney crew Mantra Collective and contributing her musical expertise and inventiveness to their lauded event series. Now based in Berlin’s cultural melting pot, the seasoned DJ is constantly evolving as both an artist and an industry contributor and balances her disarming smile with a tenacious love for underground culture. Having found her feet in her new home city, she’s begun to make her mark at storied institutions such as Club der Visionaere, Renate and Sisyphos. Always in search of intelligent music that still retains a dancefloor sensibility, the seasoned crate-digger continues to bring a diverse style to her sets that walks the fine line between stripped back minimal, breakbeat and groove laden four-to-the-floor house music.
