Be it as a DJ, creating experiences of unique depth and elegance, or as cultural agitator, through Soul.Set, the event that transformed the way people from his hometown, Sao Paulo, experienced and enjoyed dance music and the festivity that sustains it, Thiago has kept himself at the forefront of production and promotion of the musicality that he espoused from the early moments of his career. Bringing to the Brasilian metropolis stalwarts of the genre, such as Ron Trent, Joe Claussell, Atjazz, Metro Area, Mark Farina, DJ Spinna, Andrès, Jamie 3:26 and likeminded artists to the public’s delight and acting as a proper host in musical terms, Thiago ended up as one of the main players in House Music’s recent renaissance in the country by introducing it to a younger generation of avid followers. The same feeling of congregation, collective celebration, that feeling that is the music itself, regardless of who makes or dances to it, or simply enjoys it, is what drives him to keep on doing what he’s been doing so well. And it is exactly what he remains at dedicating himself, with the unbreakable constancy and consistency common to all those who made the history of this dancing institution.
