Hailing from Paris as a producer and DJ, Theppie draws his inspiration from old vinyls and hypnotic chords, collected through the clubs of the capital. Fond of bossa nova and passionate about brass instruments, his influences oscillate between melancholic house and percussive techno. He combines an eclectic register that deliver an elegant but yet raw energy at the same time, where dramatic melodies and hard-hitting kicks mingle to become one. Largely influenced by house and ambient techno, Theppie praises a universe that is both felted and intoxicating, in which each element is carefully picked in order to transmit the quintessence of a timeless techno.
