theoretic is a free spirit (in every sense). they are an anti-oppression consultant & educator by day, and by night they help people express their full selves by sweating out their stress on the dance floor. they started the monthly party series, 'Rhythm Nation' in late 2021, that features Black gender-expansive, trans, and/or women-identifying DJs, and as a resident at Jupiter Disco with their party series 'house anatomy,' they collaborate with veteran & up & coming DJs to honor the roots & future of house music in its various iterations. currently, they are the DJ for the Broadway show, "The Collaboration," through February 2023. theoretic is excited to debut their forthcoming production credits this spring and is ready to keep exploring more sonic territory through their mixes, production, and whatever else comes their way. theoretic approaches the decks with the purpose of freeing people's body, spirit, & consciousness through global forms of Black music--ranging primarily from house/techno, dance/club.. don't try and fit them in a box, though. depending on the crowd, they're fearless in spinning anything from funk, disco, boogie, hip hop, electro and other classics that bring that nostalgia to those who need it.
