Since starting his first residency in 1994 at Club Hollywood Austin, Rich (Thee Filth) has been a resident Dj in the Austin LGBTQ community and beyond since. Now residing in the Basement at Highland Lounge Austin, he has been instrumental in keeping the scene pulsing with beats from the Underground. Playing at raves and "renegade" parties and circuit parties in the 90's broadened the spectrum for him to incorporate different styles of House music in his sets. Rich has had the pleasure to grace the decks with several iconic DJs here and abroad with the likes of Erick Morillo, Blondish, LeYouth, Bad Boy Bill, Thunderpuss 2000, DJ SASHA , Gene Farris and Bob Sinclar to name a few . As an artist, Rich has put out several EPs throughout the years on several different independent record labels and also with one major label. As an A&R label manager for TreeHouse Tribe Records In 2015 he did his first remix for a major artist, CeCe Peniston called, "Believe". The song itself charted as high as #3 on the UK dance charts. As a former duo of Landlord DJs, they released 2 albums in 2021 and 2022. Also Landlord Djs were invited to do an unofficial remix for the Pet Shop Boys in 2021. Rich has played club events and festivals across the country opening for heavy hitting DJs Swedish House Mafia and Loco Dice for Miami Music Week, and Bicep at Concourse Austin.
