Heman began his DJing career at the age of 18 and created his first DJ label, "Care3" in 2012, throwing disco and house music parties in various clubhouses and private locations. In just a few years, Heman was requested to become the club manager of Acadana, a well-known underground club, followed by Resident DJ positions at five-star hotels. Later, Heman helped founded the Hong Kong-based creative collective HKCR and the Future funk/Vaporwave record label Neoncity Records. Curated countless DJ radio shows and brought musicians abroad to Hong Kong, including Yung Bae, Night Tempo, Macross 82-99, Vantage, and others. Meanwhile, he performed violin with the local folk music ensemble "New Youth Barber Shop" at Clockenflap 2017 and toured the East Sea Festival in 2018. With clubs and venues closed during the coronavirus outbreak, Heman has focused more on music instruction and community building through his education institution, Millzik. Increasing awareness, knowledge, and popularity of DJ culture through educational programs in schools and community building with NGOs or churches. Heman is also a crew member for local DJ labels reach4luvhk and ABYSS, allowing him to maintain his love for contributing to the Hong Kong music scene.
