Since his 2013 debut Disarmonia at just 18, Dylan Iuliano has built a reputation for his fearless, genre-defying sonic aesthetic. His sound is rooted in collage, forged during a childhood shaped by early P2P file-sharing, CD-burning, cassette experiments, blog-hopping, and a simultaneous love for extreme metal and millennial pop, all while exploring the wonders of the internet in its earliest stage. Rather than blending styles, he fractures and reimagines them —noise, braindance, punk, ambient, pop—into emotionally saturated compositions. Under The Delay In The Universal Loop, he has released a steady stream of acclaimed records including 2015’s Split Consciousness, a micro-cult document of early post-internet psychedelia; 2020’s Inner Capitalism, which earned a spot in WIRED Italia’s “20 Albums of the Year”; and 2023’s Ninne Nanne, premiered on Bandcamp’s homepage via their New & Notable column. His work has earned praise from outlets from various corners of the world. He’s performed internationally at dozens of clubs across the US and Europe, including festivals such as CMJ (New York), roBOt (Bologna) and beyond, sharing stages with Fennesz, Rival Consoles, Donato Dozzy, SHIGETO, Mr. Kitty, Molly Nilsson, IOSONOUNCANE amongst many others. His new EP Crushed Angels, his debut on Gabber Eleganza’s imprint Never Sleep to be released on October 3, is an equally violent and vulnerable collection of tracks. Written in nocturnal solitude from a Kreuzberg flat, the EP reflects a period of personal and emotional turmoil, where music became an urgent path to healing. The artwork for both Crushed Angels and its lead single M29 are crafted by Sathyan Rizzo (Sadcheerleader), capturing the record’s chaotic yet translucent aesthetic. Crushed Angels' Italian premiere will be at roBOt Festival in Bologna on October 11, 2025 with a new live set.
