The Dark Wasp
Biografía
The Dark Wasp began her musical journey as a classical musician. For over 13 years, she played the flute in concerts and quartets, studying at the conservatory, until one fateful live electronic performance completely reshaped her understanding of music. She had always felt she wasn’t just a performer or a soloist—music was something she wanted to create. She had ideas that needed to be turned into sound, a deep desire to produce. That’s when she fell head over heels for the world of synthesizers.
For the past two years, she has been drifting through the modular synthesizer galaxy, leaving behind her hard techno project, DonTToxique, to explore the strange beauty of patch cables and signal flows. Since then, her sound has taken a darker, more cinematic turn—drawing from cyberpunk, dark electro, EBM, and synthwave.
Inspired by artists like Gesaffelstein, Sierra, The Hacker, Miss Kittin, and Louisaaah, she now spends most of her time between knobs, blinking LEDs, and late-night frequencies—searching, experimenting, occasionally getting lost… but always enjoying the ride.
