Alaia has spent her career at various LA-based entities, most notably American Apparel and Lebron James' Uninterrupted & The SpringHill Company, also co-founding and managing a small disposable camera-focused publication called Disposable Magazine. Currently, she is the art director and graphic designer for independent record label CQQL Records. As a DJ, she collects and selects vinyl and cassettes mostly, with some CDs here and there. She hosts monthly NTS Radio show Day Care, guested and guest-hosted multiple Dublab programs, contributed a guest mix on Dash Radio, and has contributed guest dj mixes to an array of music selector series' worldwide.
