Currently based in Amsterdam, Tet's musical journey began at the young age of 7 with a piano gifted to him on his birthday. Despite taking traditional lessons, Tet's passion for music has always been to follow his ears and trust his musical intuition, rather than rely on musical notation. This approach led him to compose his first song at the age of 8, a feat that can be seen on his Instagram account. After a few years playing the piano, Tet discovered the drums and felt drawn to their energetic sound. Over the next 7 years, he not only honed his drumming skills but also created and joined various bands, exploring the world of music from a drummer's perspective. Tet's international upbringing, moving from the US to Chile and later to Italy, has shaped his eclectic musical style. Tet was drawn to electronic music for its unique blend of melodic elements he absorbed early in his life through the piano, and the energetic, danceable element from his drumming experiences. He became a DJ and producer in at age 16, experimenting with basic music software like Garageband, but it wasn't until age 19 that he made the life-changing decision to pursue his passion full-time at age 19. His ultimate goal is to connect with listeners through his music and bring them to an altered state of consciousness.
