Even before being a DJ, a producer, a radio owner or an artistic director ... Tehotu is what we can call a cultural activist of techno music. Multi-function, Tehotu is a Techno Swiss knife for more than 10 years now. Recognized for the particularity of his sets where the richness of a culture cooperates with years of commitment, passion but especially sharing, which finally, form a clever mixture of knowledge and mastery that allows the magic to operate, he has conquered the hearts of legendary clubs such as the Tresor in Berlin, Gare Porto in Portugal or the Rex Club in Paris. On top of that, Tehotu is also a producer, more discreet, but just as talented. His last ep "From Now On" EP on Volster's label Secession, has been supported by the biggest as DVS1, Rodhad, UVB, Temudo, Amotik, SLAM, Matrixmann, Setaoc Mass to name a few ... Moreover one of the track of the EP called "Hold the line" has been elected one of the best techno track of 2022 by Beatport. This led him to sign his music this year on labels like Methodical, Sinxergy and some other label are announced for 2023 as Hayes ,New Rythmic ect .. Berlin based dj since 9 years now, Tehotu's music is influenced and played mostly in the legendary club Berghain. Tehotu has also imposed a well-defined vision of what techno meant to him through his label Sinxergy where he was able to sign a number of iconic figures of the techno scene. He also has the support of biggest as Freddy K who did not fail to support each release of the label at the Berghain and all around the world. Tehotu also wanted to push the boundaries of music, human interactions and visual arts with the showcase of the label that he organized at the Anomalie club art first and then every 2 months at the Suicide club in Berlin for 2 years now. We can say that Tehotu is definitely committed to promote electronic music by all means and this since his debut in 2014. At only19 years old, he opened his first club in France where he already imposed his interpretation of techno music by creating "La Derive", a mythical artistic space in the south west of France where major figures from Berlin and elsewhere came to perform. Never ceasing to put forward the independence of the artists, he created in 2021 one of the main streaming radio of Berlin, Pattern. It is with Pattern that once again Tehotu proposed a selection of artists and collectives from all over the world to perform live every weekend in this famous basement. According to Tehotu, Techno music is much more than that .. Can be one of the fundamental values that he doesn’t cease to show us.
