Tareq is a London-based Greek-Jordanian recording artist and one half of the dj/producer duo Boys' Shorts, Started as the frontman of the nu electro band and released their only album (2007). Tareq followed a solo career and released his solo debut album "Cocoon" (2010) (Best Electronic Album of the Year, in his native Greece) Mix Mag named "Feel me - Mighty Mouse Remix” as their Tune of the Month for August 2011. Tareq's second album "Fish" (2013) embodied a different approach to pop music from his first album and included successful collaborations with a number of Greek Indie Pop artists In his theme of evolving his sound over time, Tareq's EP "Indigo" (2017) was produced by the french artist Lacquer and it was described as a funky feast of intelligent smooth Electro-Pop. Following the singles "You and Me" and "One" , Tareq more mature than ever, wrote and produced "Prints", a mid tempo electronica love serenade under the dystopian circumstances (July 2020). Tareq has also been known for his exceptional remixes, for international artists such as Fischerspooner, Erasure, Mighty mouse, Jessica 6, Marsheaux, Bright Light Bright Light and many more.
