TAPCUE
Biografía
For the past decade, she has been dedicated to creating and shaping musical
representation as a DJ and producer, exploring various genres. As she says, “An artist is
constantly undergoing changes and evolution; it’s unstoppable. Even when we are not aware
of it at the moment, we are continuously facing changes.” TAPCUE represents a unique
style that blends elements of trance, breakbeat, and house music.
She is active in Bratislava, where she represents the local club scene. She has appeared in
line-ups at clubs such as Wax2, Šafko, Nu Spirit Bar, Radosť, Kacéčko, and more. She is
also part of the Blasfémia collective, known for organizing events focused on harder
electronic music genres and supporting the local music community. The collective is
currently aiming to collaborate with international collectives.
“My main goal is to connect the Slovak music scene with communities worldwide that share
similar passion, vision, and values. I continue to strive to create unique dance experiences
that reflect my constantly evolving sound and artistic vision.”
Her distinctive sound is characterized by a bold combination of genres such as house,
hardgroove, trance, acid, breakbeat, and experimental music, drawing primary inspiration
from music scenes in Melbourne, Berlin, and Amsterdam. Platforms like Radio Rudina,
Polyamor Berlin, Boiler Room, and Hőr Berlin are juicy sources of creativity, bringing
fresh ideas into her DJ sets.
Together with producer breathe the vapor (Lukáš Klinec), she pushes the boundaries of
music production. She is the co-founder of the Basy z Basy project, where they explore new
creative possibilities and experiment with various genres.
“Our performances are filled with original bootlegs, remixes, and unexpected transitions that
create a dynamic experience for the audience.”
