Born to immigrant parents from Guyana and London, her work is heavily influenced by contemporary Afro-diasporic culture — fusing ancestral roots with modern techniques to navigate hybridized identities and champion self-authorship within cultural narratives, especially from underrepresented voices. Through her independent label Trance Records, she has released two musical projects, Poster Girl and DOWN 2 EARTH, which have amassed over 4 million streams globally.
