Based in Asia and playing around the world over past two decades, Taku Hirayama has gained a certain experience in the booth and on the dancefloor to connect music and sound deeply with himself. Developed his signature trippy groove with a wide range of electronic music selection. Honing a sound that spreads widely and smoothly, bending it into a linear, forward pushing energy, leaving genres and perceptions of time behind. His sets bring the audience to meditative state while approaching to mind-bending experiment, drench them in sound and conclude the night with a story. Blessed with many musical encounters while touring and performing at credible clubs and festivals across the globe, he has introduced numerous acclaimed industry figures, like-minded artists and hidden talents to a global audience through his own platform “Junktion”. Currently based in Vietnam and also playing as a resident of The Observatory. __________ 90年代の地元福岡での音楽体験を機にDJ活動を開始。2000年代に拠点の中心を香港に移して以来、アジアを中心にヨーロッパや海外各地のパーティーやフェスティバルでプレイし活動の場を広げる。新旧様々なエレクトロニックミュージックを織り交ぜる選曲と、多彩な音のレイヤーによるトリッピーなグルーヴに磨きを掛け独自の世界観を探求。2013年より続ける自身のパーティー “Junktion” では、世界中から有名無名問わず多様なスタイルのアーティストと共演。多角度から深く交差しながら音楽観をアップデートし続けている。現在ベトナムを拠点にThe Observatoryでのレジデントも務める。
