Active since 2024, her first gigs have been on intimate floors in Hamburg. After spending years on the dancefloor as a regular in the scene, friends and the circles around her inspired her to move behind the decks herself. She feels most at home on concentrated, smaller floors with open-minded dancers who let themselves be carried by the bass. The name “Taisy” goes all the way back to fifth grade, when she randomly told people to start calling her that because it sounded more fun - and it stuck. Her sound orbits house without committing too hard to one subgenre: often jackin’ and disco-leaning, with dry, crisp percussion and a slightly spiky edge. She likes to break up the flow with tracks that feel a bit off-kilter or subtly nostalgic. The kind that tilt the mood sideways but keep people moving. Her sets aim for direct, physical energy rather than technical perfection. Alongside her solo work, she is one half of the duo BGC (Baum Golant Company) with Emil Baum.
