Originally from Colombia, Juan passion from music is rooted in the South American scene and influenced by the Detroit house and techno movement. After spending his youth in Bogota he moved to Amsterdam and started getting in touch with the local minimal scene and expanding his own style into an eclectic combination of sounds. After a couple of years in Amsterdam he started a project called Unsilenced, alongside Former music, focused on dance floor house music with a minimalistic touch. Juan music selection waves so slightly between different house music genres, uk garage, deep house and minimal to deliver a punchy, groovy and sometimes emotional sound.
