TACIT began their journey into electronic music by way of a MIDI Technology course in college. They immediately fell in love with the process and began obsessively experiment with sound design across numerous genres. In 2023, they released their first full length project, "It Comes In Waves," which distilled their eight years of practice into an eclectic yet cohesive body of work. It's no easy task for Zach to define the music they make, which is the main reason they opted for the name TACIT, which means "understood or defined without being directly expressed." When pressed, however, they lean into open-ended descriptions. "Electronic expressions in vulnerable dance music." They implore you to go into their music with no preconceived notions, just an open mind and a sense of curiosity.
