Syncrow is the musical project of Wesley (NL) and Angel (US), a married DJ duo whose story is deeply intertwined with their love for music. Their journey began in 2012, as a long-distance couple between Groningen and Tucson, using music as a bridge to stay connected. Every visit to the Netherlands revolved around discovering new sounds together, spending nights at Paradigm and Subsonic, molding their musical identity. In 2016, Angel relocated to Groningen, where they immersed themselves in the underground scene for six years. However, as the scene evolved, so did their path. In 2022, they moved to Amsterdam, where their passion for DJing truly took off. Playing at intimate gatherings and private events, quickly led to an opportunity to perform at Yellow House, which in turn earned them a spot at Feed Radio. They also played at the opening of Der Hintergarten, further establishing themselves within Amsterdam's underground circuit. Their sound is a reflection of their journey -minimalistic yet groovy, hypnotic yet precise, always with a stripped-back approach that allows every suble element to shine. With a deep appreciation for refined textures and intricate percussions, together as syncrow they craft sets that pull dancers into a flow state, evoking the same sense of connection that first brought them together. Now, with their roots firmly planted in both Groningen and Amsterdam, they continue to push their sound forward, sharing their passion with new audiences while staying true to the underground spirit that shaped them.
