Symonne
Biografía
A life-long songwriter and singer, Symønne began DJing and producing electronic music in the Boston underground in 2013. Her music is melodic, energetic, globally-inspired and groove-obsessed: firmly rooted in Chicago house, tech house, minimal, melodic techno and deep house, delivered with an infectious stage presence.
Symønne rose to prominence in the Bay Area in 2015, regularly playing at Burning Man, providing mainstage support for global acts, and performing on radio shows Fault Radio, Alkaline Burner Podcast, and Polar Jungle. There, she also co-founded a monthly event Open House in 2018, which featured open decks and helped elevate a number of local DJs, and was a core member of the all-female DJ collective Booty Patrol with a weekly residency at F8 Nightclub.
Now in LA, Symønne has quickly established herself as one of the city's hottest up and coming DJs performing across commercial, underground, and after-hours events, founding her own all-woman DJ collective, Blaque Mária, playing internationally, and releasing new original music, such as the deep tech banger "PARIS (DO YOU)" available on all platforms as of December 2023.
With more performances and original productions on the way, keep an eye on this passionate and hard-working veteran as she continues to rise on the global stage.
