From sound compositions to articulate 3D audio designs, from dystopic atmospheres to jarring rhythms, SUONI CHIARI's focus is always to generate in the audience mindful reflections upon our contemporary socio-political time frame. SUONI CHIARI merges in her style the classical musical knowledge of the conservatory, which she attended at the age of 8 in Italy and the influences of Barcelona and Berlin's music scene. In 2014 SUONI CHIARI moved to Barcelona where she became instantly involved in the deep house and deep techno music scene. Meanwhile studying at Academy 303, and taught by Jesús del Cerro, she studied professionally to produce electronic music with Ableton Live. In 2017 she relocated to Berlin where she studied sound engineering at SAE. Right after the course, she got employed as a sound designer at usomo, a company that has developed an avant-garde 3D interactive sound system. Within the company, SUONI CHIARI had the possibility to participate in big 3D sound installations in museums such as ARS Electronica Center (AU), Hungarian House of Music (HUN), Literaturhaus Berlin (DEU) and many more, around and outside Europe. She also created the interactive sound design for the "You Will Go Away One Day But I Will Not" project at Berlin's Botanical Garten in collaboration with Lucrecia Dalt and Maria Thereza Alves for CTM Festival 2020's edition. SOUNI CHIARI has collaborated for 3 years with the Barcelona-based record label DIFFUSE REALITY to create the artistic theme of its yearly festival called TEOREMA, which takes place in Barcelona, Madrid, Berlin and Buenos Aires.
