Active in the electronic scene since many years by getting involved in labels, webzines and events organization, Substencia grew up with raves and hardcore sounds during early 2000's, while playing acoustic instruments and became a real melomaniac. After listening and ingesting a lot of music, she has been producing since 2017 and released tracks and remixes for several labels as Instinkt, COUP, Subverted, Durch, DVNTT, Unusual, and recently Kallkällan where she released her third EP. Her music is midway between industrial techno collages and sort of emotional doom atmospheres, her tracks are regularly played by Ancient Methods, Kenny Campbell, Cassie Raptor... As a DJ she is known for her intense and cinematographic mixes, with a very personal approach to music thanks to her influences in various styles : pure industrial music, dark ambient, UK old school techno or even baroque music.
