Having conjoined forces in 2019 to embark on the adventure of exploring sonic worlds together, Strange Interactions are now bass-heads that maneuver the darker sound of the underground. Strange Interactions’ sound is best suited to murky dancefloors late at night or early in the morning where you can hear them spin jungle, bass, dubstep and beyond; throwing in the occasional rap and grime for good measure. Though you can also catch them as their lighter alias 'Strange Attractions' where they could be spinning anything from g-funk to left-field house, balearic to soul. Their expertise on the dance-floor has earned them a place on lineups such as Hopkins Creek Festival, 2 Degrees Festival, Brunswick Music Festival After Party, Local Knowledge, Steel City Dance Discs as well as plenty more beloved parties and events across Melbourne. As a duo Strange Interactions are well seasoned both on and off the dance-floor, curating their own bass parties across town and launching their record label under the same title. Strange Interactions also runs a monthly show on Hong Kong Community Radio called 'Reconnect' where they spin more slower and reflective sounds, inviting a space for considered listening and welcoming their guest DJs to do the same.
