Strahl is a new music project by Luca Iannone. The Southern Italian artist, based now in Berlin, began his career early in 2014 in his hometown Salerno, while playing in many local parties, he gained a lot of experience on the booth. In 2017 he started to grow a great passion for vinyl as collector and he developed skills to make these be his favorites tools for DJ performances. He had different music influences: in the beginning of his early ages house music and tribal were at his glance, immediately after he moved forward to the techno sound, raw and deep techno were the most inspirational styles. Out of curiosity he started to find a comfort with industrial leaning techno music, and he opened a project named Archaix which shared the dj booth with artists like Unconscious and Opioid Slot Machine. Because of his endless research of his own style and real harmony with music, he had an evolution: raw and deep techno infused with sci-fi sounds lead him to open this project to pursue what he loves the most. His dj sets are a progressive journey to his idea of techno, driven by sci-fi and sharp sounds, rolled up by deep textures to dive deep down into more wicked patterns, everything matched with relentless drum grooves. He had a role in his hometown as organizer of underground techno parties with different collectives, he has been working with artists like Wrong Assesment, Fabrizio Lapiana, D-Leria, Jacopo aka Severja, Atsomm and Sharplines. He collaborated with Techno Empire, a podcast techno channel for new talented artists of the scene and now he is owner of the upcoming network and portal for electronic music “Palpebrae” who will lead people to learn more about clubbing and music culture and connect with these last.
