Biografía
Steven Sanchez, born in Lausanne (Switzerland) in 1985, started mixing in 1999 on vinyl turntables. Originally from Chile, he has been open to electronic music from an early age, but is also inspired by different cultural horizons. His musical research is based on styles that mainly combine groove, rhythmic and harmonies.
He quickly started performing on the turntables of the various clubs of his city, especially at La Ruche at the time and now at the Folklor. He did the warm-up (in alphabetical order) of Alex Ferrer, Argenis Brito, Coco Berlin, Dana Ruh, Deetron, Daniel Dreier, Dorian Pai, Empro, Guillaume & The Coutu Dumonts, Marco Resmann, Pascal Hetzel and Sucré Salé.
In terms of radio experience, he hosted the show « Warm Up » on Eco-Webradio with Phil Hunger. He also mixed at various events in Geneva (Weetamix), Valais (Cercle) and Zurich.
For 3 years, he performed in duo with Benito (Folklor) under the name of « Los Wenamigos ». They were present during the Loveboat, the after party of People in the City in Lausanne, along with artists like Guti, James Mc Hale and Sonja Moonear.
