Steve Raven’s passion for house music was born in the late ‘80s, when his love of hip-hop evolved into an obsession with the emerging house sound. Inspired by pioneers like Paul Oakenfold, he began spinning vinyl in the mid-’90s, cutting his teeth on hard house before moving through trance, funky house, and beyond. By the 2000s, Steve was a familiar face on London’s vibrant boat party scene and running his own local events with close friends. Since relocating to the South East Coast, his sound has matured into a deep, soulful, and melodic fusion - blending deep house, Afro house, organic, and progressive grooves that reflect his laid-back coastal vibe. Over the years, Steve has shared the decks with legends including Terry Farley, Judge Jules, Secondcity, George Meddles, Tim Cullen, Brandon Block, and Lisa Loud. Today, he channels his passion into ARTEMIX - his own series of events celebrating creativity, connection, and the true spirit of house music.
